On Saturday 4th February, German Eurovision broadcaster NDR hosted a special show called ‘Alles Eurovision’ (Everything Eurovision) where they announced the winner of the final act to take part in their national final, Unser Lied für Liverpool (Our Song For Liverpool). The act to win the wildcard slot, through a vote via TikTok was Ikke Hüftgold with his song ‘Lied mit gutem Text’ (Song with good lyrics). He won 52% of the vote.
