Tickets for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest go on sale at 10:00 CET, Tuesday 28th November!
An Early Announcement
In a post on X today, the official Eurovision account announced news that the first tickets for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest will go on sale at 10:00 CET on Tuesday 28th November.
In a change from recent years, SVT appear to be following a similar strategy to the last time Sweden hosted the contest in 2016 in making tickets available around 6 months prior to the grand final itself.
If this is anything to go by we could well see multiple waves of tickets being released in the run up to May as was the case in 2016.
This is a marked change from recent years and is the earliest Eurovision tickets have gone on sale since Lisbon 2018. Below is a list of dates for first wave ticket releases from 2016 onwards:
Year | Date Tickets on Sale |

How to purchase?
Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster.se. The official Eurovision website recommends creating a ticketmaster.se account prior to the sale date in order to be best prepared.
There is also expected to be a presale for official fan clubs (OGAE) prior to 28th November.
From this page on Ticketmaster.se we can also see the first look at the arena seating plan for the Malmรถ Arena. Many fans will be familiar with the venue as a regular tour stop during the Melodifestivalen Semi Final stages and also as the venue which hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013.
Although the map shows as ‘for illustrative purposes only‘ could this give us the first indication of what the stage design for 2023 may look like? From the map we can see a large square stage area with a catwalk extending into the floor space. Notably, there is also no green room showing on the map which could mean SVT are planning to host this elsewhere as they did in 2013, the last time Eurovision was held at this venue.
You can also see from the map some seating on the higher levels behind the stage which could indicate that SVT are planning a number of ‘audio only’ seats which have an obstructed or limited view of the stage as we have seen at past editions of the contest. SVT also had a limited number of these seats in 2013 around the area of D28-D30 as shown on the map.
