Benidorm Fest is back!
The 18 artists taking part were revealed on Thursday October 9th 2025, with the songs set to be released on December 18th 2025.

Eurovision 2026: Spain’s Stance
In past years, Benidorm Fest has acted as Spain’s selection method for the Eurovision Song Contest. Following a vote in September by the RTVE Board of Directors, Spain announced that they will NOT take part in Eurovision 2026 if Israel are to enter – this comes alongside statements from Slovenia, Ireland and The Netherlands regarding withdrawing due to Israel’s participation, with Spain currently being the only Big 5 country to take a definitive stance on the matter. The EBU have moved the planned vote on Israel’s participation from December to November 2025, and despite the outcome of the vote, Benidorm Fest is still set to go ahead in February 2026 – even if Spain withdraw from the contest.
Benidorm Fest 2026 begins on February 10th, with 9 artists competing in Semi Final 1. The other 9 artists will compete in Semi 2 on February 12th. The final is set to take place on. February 14th 2026.Â
