Estonia will select their artist and song for Eurovision 2025 on Saturday February 15th 2025, again via Eesti Laul.
Eesti Laul 2025, unlike recent years, now only consists of one show – where 16 artists will compete in Tallinn for the chance to head to Basel. Round 1 of the voting will be decided in a 50/50 jury & televote split, with the super final – and ultimately winner of Eesti Laul – will be chosen by 100% televote.
With that being said, let’s now take a look at the ones to watch for Eesti Laul 2025!
Tommy Cash – ‘Espresso Macchiato’
The runaway favourite to win from the day the artists were announced, Tommy Cash is certainly the most likely artist we’ll be seeing at Eurovision 2025. Hitting #1 on Estonia’s trending and YouTube charts, ‘Espresso Macchiato’ has firmly positioned itself as the most popular song in Eesti Laul this year. Tommy Cash is friends with Joost Klein who represented the Netherlands in Eurovision 2024, and he told his supporters that “we need to finish what Käärija and Joost started”. Clearly with his eyes on the Eurovision trophy, can Tommy do exactly what he says they need to and become the second ever Estonian Eurovision winner?
Ant – ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’
Rising up the odds is Ant, with ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’. A winner of Eesti Ostib Superstaari, Ant joins a long line of previous contestants from this show that have competed in Eesti Laul – the most successful recently being Alika, who represented Estonia in 2023. Ant will perform first in Eesti Laul 2025, and will need to make a strong impression on viewers if he wants to stand out from his 15 competitors, but with a reliable live vocal and a jury-friendly song, could Ant be the one to beat fan-favourite Tommy and head to Basel?
Minimal Wind – ‘Armageddon’
Minimal Wind return to Eesti Laul with ‘Armageddon’, which stands out amongst the pop-style favourites in this years contest. In 2022, they competed with ‘What To Make Of This’ featuring Elisabeth Tiffany, which came 2nd in the super final to ‘Hope’ by Stefan. They’ll be looking to go one better this year, and after their surprise rise to success in the 2022 contest a win for them this time around isn’t out of the question. Will we see Minimal Wind in Switzerland?
Also favourites to win this year are Andrei Zevakin ft. Karita, An Marlen, Janek and Elysa – so it’s set to be an interesting final whatever happens!
The final of Eesti Laul 2025 will be broadcast live on ERR at 17:15 GMT // 18:15 CET.
