The final of Benidorm Fest 2025 has arrived!
Spain will become the next Big 5 country to select their artist, from 8 songs that qualified during the semi finals.
This year, we don’t have the scores from the jury and televote – making this final much more interesting to predict. All of the ones to watch qualified both with the jury and televote – but we don’t know exactly how well they did.
So, who will represent Spain in Basel? Here are the ones to watch…
Melody – ‘Esa Diva’
The clear favourite from the day the Benidorm Fest artists were announced, Melody has remained in the top 2 of the odds, sitting at 2nd going into the final. ‘Esa Diva’ was performed last during Semi Final 2, featuring everything you’ve come to expect from a classic Eurovision entry – big vocals, a costume change and a dramatic entrance. Her decades of performing experience really shone through, and with some time polish things up Melody could take the trophy. She’s in the prime spot in the running order – once again closing the show. Melody missed out on Eurovision 2009 in Spain’s national final on a tiebreak – will it finally be her time, 16 years later? You can see her Semi Final 2 performance below!
Lachispa – ‘Hartita de Llorar’
Another big favourite going into Benidorm Fest 2025 was the song ‘Hartita de Llorar’ by Lachispa. Her performance was generally praised and her place at the top of the odds has remained after both semi finals – meaning this is certainly one to keep a close eye on during the final. It’s certainly loved by fans both in Spain and internationally – and wouldn’t be the first time Spain sent Falmeco to Eurovision, after Blanca Paloma won Benidorm Fest in 2023. Will we see it back at the contest? You can see her semi-final performance below!
J Kbello – ‘V.I.P
J Kbello came with a slick performance of his song ‘V.I.P’ for Thursday’s semi final – seeing him sail through to the final. Despite dropping to 4th in the odds, he won the press poll during the Semi Final and could easily walk away with the win if the viewers at home are feeling like this could be their best bet at Eurovision. A solo male artist has never won Benidorm Fest – but has come close in the last 3 editions – so will J Kbello become the first to represent Spain since Blas Cantó in 2021? You can see his semi final performance below!
Daniela Blasco – ‘Uh Nana’
Daniela Blasco became Benidorm Fest’s dark horse during semi-final one when she strutted onto the stage with ‘Uh Nana’. It’s hard not to compare this visually to Chanel’s ‘Slomo’ in 2022 – featuring extremely on point choreography and a dance break that elevates the song to a potential winner. By far the most viewed entry at the time of writing, ‘Uh Nana’ wasn’t really on anyone’s radar before the semi final – again, much like Chanel. She’ll be opening the show – which could leave a lasting impression on viewers if her performance is just as perfect as it was on Tuesday. Daniela is just 19 years old, but her years of performing really come through with no nerves on show – just pure confidence and determination that could serve her extremely well in Basel. Will she surprise everyone by taking the trophy home? You can see her performance below!
