The Big 5 – France, Germany, Spain, UK and Italy (plus host Ukraine) had their second rehearsals today ahead of their performances in the evening preview’s on Monday May 8th 2023 and Wednesday May 10th 2023.
After their rehearsals, they pulled their Grand Final halves at random on TikTok live in their chat with Timur Miroshynchenko. This means we got to find out who will performing in the first half, and who’ll be performing in the second half.
Without further ado, the performance slots are:
First Half
France 🇫🇷 – La Zarra, ‘Évidemment’
Italy 🇮🇹 – Marco Mengoni, ‘Due Vite’
Spain 🇪🇸 – Blanca Paloma, ‘EaEa’
Second Half
Germany 🇩🇪 – Lord Of The Lost, ‘Blood & Glitter’
Ukraine 🇺🇦 – TVORCHI, ‘Heart Of Steel’
TVORCHI will perform in 19th Position. This was randomly drawn at the Head’s Of Delegation’s meeting back at the start of March, which is the usual procedure for the host country. As this year the UK will host on behalf of Ukraine, the UK’s Head Of Delegation Adam Wydrzynski drew Ukraine’s position.
United Kingdom 🇬🇧 – Mae Muller, ‘I Wrote A Song’
Mae Muller will perform in 26th Position (last to perform) – This was randomly drawn at the Head’s Of Delegation’s meeting back at the start of March, which is the usual procedure for the host country. As this year the UK will host on behalf of Ukraine, Ukraine’s Head Of Delegation Oksana Skybinska drew the UK’s position.
You can catch snippets of France, Italy & Germany’s performance’s during Semi-Final 1 on Tuesday, May 9th 2023, and Ukraine, the UK & Spain during Semi-Final 2 on Thursday, May 11th 2023. All of the Big 5 along with the 10 qualifiers from both Semi-Finals will perform at the Grand Final on Saturday, May 13th 2023. The full running order will be released after Semi-Final 2, usually in the early hours of Friday morning.
