There is one more Semi-Final to go in Pabandom iÅ¡ naujo! (PiN) 2023, where Lithuania will continue to select it’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. With the final 10 acts ready to take the stage, we take a look at some of the artists who you should be looking out for in the second Semi-Final this Saturday night.
Beatrich – ‘Like a Movie’
This pop rock number has got everyone talking! Scoring top marks with the televote and jury in the heat stage with huge streaming numbers, she’s earned her place as one to watch at this stage of the competition. RÅ«ta Mur’s ‘So Low’ from Heat 1 however couldn’t get top points in the televote or jury in the Semi-Final stage, so it will be interesting to see if Beatrich can repeat what she couldn’t – which may really help us predict the final result.
Mario Junes – ‘Do What You Do’
One of the most contemporary sounding pop songs in the competition with production to match, Mario impressed in the heat stage which earned him a great running order slot in the Semi-Final round (9th out of 10th). His commitment to giving great vocals with a stage show to match will be one to keep an eye on on Saturday night.
Antikvariniai KaÅ¡pirovskio dantys – ‘SÄ—di ir važiuoji’
Okay, so this is not going to win. It probably won’t even make it through to the final. But we can’t not talk about how crazy and insane these three minutes are. This song is very true to Antikvariniai KaÅ¡pirovskio dantys’ style with lyrics talking a lot about nothing with a trombone riff. But if you really want to question in the middle of Super Saturday why we all do this…it could be a great pallette cleanser!
These acts all bring something different to the table but are certainly ones to watch when you’re flicking through your Super Saturday screens! Tune into the second Semi-Final of Pabandom iÅ¡ naujo! 2023 on Saturday 11th February at 20:00pm CET on the LRT website.
