On Friday 27th January 2023, the German Eurovision broadcaster NDR confirmed the artists and their songs for their national final Unser Lied für Liverpool (Our Song for Liverpool). The winner of the competition will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
The confirmed entries are:
1. Anica Russo – ‘Once Upon A Dream’
2. Lord of the Lost – ‘Blood & Glitter’
3. TRONG – ‘Dare To Be Different’
4. Patty Gurdy – ‘Melodies Of Hope’
5. Frida Gold – ‘Alle Frauen in mir sind müde’
6. René Miller – ‘Concrete Heart’
7. Lonely Spring – ‘Misfit’
8. Will Church – ‘Hold On’
TikTok Wildcard
In addition to these confirmed acts, there is another place available for a wildcard entry – voted for the public via TikTok. From 27th January 2023 to 3rd February 3 2023, one of these six acts that applied via TikTok will be voted into the show via the general public.
These are:
Betül – ‘Heaven’
Leslie Clio – ‘Free Again’
From Fall To Spring – ‘Draw The Line’
Ikke Hipgold – ‘Lied mit gutem Text’
JONA – ’10/10′
Mitchy & André Katawazi and NashUp – ‘Summertime’
One vote can be cast per day via your TikTok account and the result will on February 4th at 6 p.m. on a show called “Alles Eurovision” live on eurovision.de.
Unser Lied für Liverpool will take place on Friday 3rd March at 22:20 CET.
